The following rules are abbreviated for simplicity:
1. Parking permits must be hung from the rear view mirror at all times when on the condominium property. This includes handicap parking.
2. Guest parking spaces are available on a first come first served basis and cannot be occupied for more than 24 hours unless authorized. You must display the guest parking permit on the rear view mirror. (NOTE: Leaving and coming back does not extend the time, also switching guest parking spots does not extend the time.)
*Please note that frequent or long-term guests need to be registered with management, and cannot use guest parking spaces. See guest policy.
3. Only guests may park in parking spaces designated for guest parking. Unit owners, tenants and residents are strictly prohibited from parking in a parking space designated for guest parking.
4. Lost parking permits will be re-issued at the owner’s expense.
5. No unit owner, tenant or resident shall park in a parking space assigned to another Unit.
6. All vehicles must be parked within the lines designated for the particular parking space. Only one (1) vehicle is allowed per parking space. Residents shall not park or store mopeds, motorized bicycles, bicycles, tricycles or scooters in the same parking spaces with vehicles.
7. No vehicle may be parked in a manner that blocks the ingress and egress of other vehicles.
8. Vehicles parked in handicapped spaces must display a proper disabled parking permit and a Baylofts parking permit. Handicapped spaces are available on a first come first serve basis.
9. Vehicles with expired tags or that are non-operational shall not remain in the parking garage for more than forty-eight (48) hours.
10. Vehicle repairs are not permitted in the parking garage.
11. No parking shall be permitted in front of the locker stations, fire lanes, on sidewalks, in the grass, next to fire hydrants or in front of dumpsters. Do not park in areas marked “Tow Away Zone” and/or “No Parking”.
12. No parking in the designated loading zones, except while actively engaging in the loading or unloading of goods, furniture and/or parcels.
13. No item may be stored in or on the bed of a pick-up truck which protrudes above the bed while parked on Baylofts property.
14. The Association shall have no liability for loss or damage to any vehicle located upon the Common Elements whether or not the presence of such vehicle is permitted on the Common Elements by these Rules.
15. Any individual who fails to comply with the above parking rules, any other existing parking rules and regulations or any parking regulations posted in the parking areas may be fined and/or may have a violation sticker placed on his/her vehicle or may have his/her vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.
