THIS IS NOT A HOTEL
- No short term rentals allowed (Airbnb, VRBO, Homeaway, etc.)
- The minimum lease term at Baylofts is six months.
- All leasees and leases must be approved by the Board of Directors
- All unescorted guests must be approved (see Guest Policy)
- No more than two leases may commence in the same year
Any owner in violation is subject to:
- Daily fines
- Legal action from the association
- Immediate removal of unauthorized tenant/occupant
- Reporting to government agencies for investigation and enforcement of Chapter 509 violations of the Florida Statutes.
Any resident, tenant, renter, or other occupant found violating this policy is subject to:
- Daily fines
- Eviction
- Legal action
If you rented a unit at Baylofts from a short term rental site, without understanding our rules, please know that we have monitored security cameras on premises as well as a database of known residents. We will pursue your immediate removal and any other remedies to the full extent allowed by law.
BUT, BUT, BUT – we understand these things happen. Please contact us immediately and we’ll help fix the situation. By cooperating with our association representatives, we will help make sure you still have a fantastic time in Miami!
